Magenta Sprite Phlox is a dwarf evergreen perennial with a tidy low-mounded habit of rich green awl-shaped foliage. The heavy blooms of magenta pink flowers coat the plant from mid to late spring attracting butterflies. Best flowering in full sun and rich, moist, well-drained soils. Magenta Sprite does not spread aggressively.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Water regularly and do not overcrowd. Spider mites can be a problem in hot and dry climates. Foliar nematode can be an issue in humid/wet conditions. Cut back foliage after flowering to promote denser growth and stimulate possible rebloom.
